Be Among the First to Experience the Mariemont Museum.
The Mariemont Museum is getting ready to open its doors and we invite the community to get a special sneak preview of what’s to come.
Join Mariemont Preservation Foundation (MPF) on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an opportunity to step inside the historic Ferris House and experience the beginning of the Mariemont Museum.
For more than 200 years, the Ferris House has been part of the story of this community. Now, the historic building is entering an exciting new chapter as it is transformed into a museum dedicated to sharing Mariemont’s history, Mary Emery’s remarkable legacy, the area’s earliest settlers, and the Indigenous history of the Little Miami River Valley.
This sneak preview offers visitors a first look at the museum as it takes shape and an opportunity to help shape its future. Guests will be invited to share feedback about their museum experience through a visitor survey. Their input will help MPF continue refining the museum as it prepares for its official opening.
The weekend will also mark the kickoff of our final $100,000 fundraising campaign.
MPF has undertaken a $1.3 million project to restore the historic Ferris House and transform it into the Mariemont Museum. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are now just $100,000 away from reaching our goal. The museum is slated to have its grand opening in July 2027.
We invite the community to come see what has been accomplished, experience the vision firsthand, and help us cross the finish line.
